Lifestyle & Community
Downtown Pleasanton has two great events this week! The 1st Wednesday Street Party is tonight and the Friday Concert in the Park series kicks off on Friday. These are both popular events that are great for the whole family.
Tonight at the 1st Wednesday Street Party you can enjoy live music throughout downtown along with nearly 200 vendor booths, a Wine Garden, Farmers’ Market and local artists at ArtBlock. The Food Truck Mafia will have 5 trucks downtown plus many of the restaurants will have specials tonight too.
On Friday night the Pleasanton Downtown Association’s popular Concert in the Park series starts on First Street at Lions Wayside Park. The Friday concerts will take place every Friday night from June 5 through August 28, featuring an eclectic mix of music from rock, blues and big band to 50’s and 60’s oldies, soul, and Latin rock. The free concerts run from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and the park fills up fast. For details on the music featured each week visit: Pleasanton Downtown Association
